About

Welcome to The Intentional Servant

I’m an alcoholic with long-term sobriety, but my journey has been anything but easy. While I was never behind bars, I did end up in the hospital—twice—spending a total of nine weeks there, followed by four months of physical therapy. But the deepest wounds weren’t physical. My addiction placed a burden on my family and friends that was far too heavy—straining relationships, breaking trust, and leaving pain in its wake. I was angry at the world and exhausted from the lies I kept telling—especially the ones I told myself. I didn’t recognize the person I had become, and I felt completely lost.  It was in that place of exhaustion and brokenness that I finally stopped running—from the truth, from myself, and from God. When I surrendered, I discovered that the healing I was desperate for had been waiting for me all along in His grace. That discovery lit a fire in me to share hope with others walking the same difficult road, and that’s why Intentional Servant was born—to offer encouragement, community, and faith-based support to anyone seeking freedom and a new beginning.

Break the Chains of Addiction. Hope & Freedom in Christ

From Chains to Change

From Chains to Change is where raw truth meets relentless grace.

This is a space for the real ones — the fighters, the seekers, the ones tired of the same old shame cycle.

Whether you’re in the trenches of recovery, loving someone who is, or just done with quick-fix answers, pull up a seat.

We will dive into the questions, bust the myths about addiction and recovery, and unpack how faith isn’t a band-aid — it’s a lifeline.

With stories, hope, and the reminder that even in the darkest chapters, God isn’t done yet.

Hope isn’t a myth — it’s a movement and your past doesn't get the final word.
